Born November 21, 1920 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Hallabrin Dorn. A 1939 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School, Esther was a devoted wife and mother. She was an excellent seamstress and a member of Berean Baptist Church, where she enjoyed helping with the Bulletin and attending Bible classes. She was also a volunteer for MedCentral Hospital for over thirty years.Esther is survived by her two children and their spouses, Dennis and Corrine Grassel and Suzie (Brubach) and Dave Ferguson; three grandchildren, Alexis Ferguson, Michelle (Tom) Weirich and David Grassel; two great-grandsons, Brandon Weirich and Sean Weirich; two sisters, Berdie Brumenschenkel and Marie Clay; one brother, Albert Brumenschenkel; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her first husband, Albert M. Grassel in 1945 and her second husband, William E. Brubach in 1982.Private family services will be observed. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
