Barbara is a 1970 graduate of Marietta High School and a 1975 graduate of Marietta College and then began her teaching career at Frontier High School, where she taught for 28 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Barbara was also a member of the Frontier Local Education Association and the American Legion Post 64, Ladies Auxiliary. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, teacher and best friend. She has touched many lives. Barbara was always known for her charitable heart. She was a teacher both in and out of the classroom. In life and through her death she taught us that the most important things cannot be bought with money or a credit card. She would not want us to mourn her death but celebrate her life.
