Born in New York City, he lived in Springfield before coming to Mendham 18 years ago. He was employed as a research associate with Exxon Research and Engineering Co., Linden where he worked for 28 years until his recent retirement. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII. World War II Survivors include his wife, Betty Yoos; a daughter, Gail L., and son, Paul F., both at home, and his mother, Anna Reyher Steidler, New York City. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held tomorrow at 10: 30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church here.
