Cheryl L. (Stallman)Young 1962-2015
age 53 of Massillon, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 at her home with her family at her side. She was born in Canton, Ohio on March 16, 1962 and was the daughter of Jerry L. Stallman and the late Mary A. (Doerschuk) Stallman. Cheryl was a 1980 graduate of Jackson High School. She worked at R.G. Drage Vocational School in the cafeteria. She enjoyed crocheting and candy making and was an avid bingo player. She and her husband Mike enjoyed camping at Clay's Park. She also liked playing the occasional slot machine (when she was allowed).
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Michael J. Young, her son, Aaron (Jamie) Young, her daughters, Alicia (Jon) Langenhop and Amanda Young, five grandchildren and her brothers Craig (Diane) Stallman and Jeffery Stallman.
A service to celebrate her life will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Cheryl's family would like to give special thanks to the Aultman Oncology team and Aultman Hospice for the exceptional care that she was given. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Cheryl's name to Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn Avenue NW, Canton, OH 44708.
