Anita was predeceased by her parents Catherine and Frances Jerome Gray, her brother Jerome Gray, and sister Cathy Gray. Anita was a former nurse and a chaperone for Miss America. She loved the beach and traveling. She filled her life spending time with her children and grandchildren. Friends will be received at PUMPHREY'S BETHESDA-CHEVY CHASE, INC, 7557 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Catholic Mass will be held at St Jane Frances De Chantal, 9601 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, MD on October 9 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment to take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.
