Kratz February 16, 1923 - July 8, 2015 Obituary Clara I. Kratz, age 92 of Edinburg, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at her home. She was born February 16, 1923, in Suffield, Ohio, to parents Sylvan and Bernice (Crago) Coburn. Clara was a member of St. Peter of the Fields Parish. She was active with the Portage County Senior Center and also volunteered at the county clothing center. Clara was a strong willed woman, who took care of her family, as well as her farm. She is survived by her children: Janet (Lawrence) Bresky of Edinburg and Richard (Debbie) Kratz of De Graff, Ohio; her sister: Rose Coburn of Edinburg; her grandchildren: Christopher (Melissa) Bresky, Kenyon (Karina) Bresky, Derrick (Betsy) Bresky, Rebecca Kratz, and Stephanie Kratz; as well as her great-granddaughter Rachael Bresky. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Andy Kratz, her daughter Mary Kratz, her sister Frances Lustritz, and her brothers Bernard and John Coburn. Friends will be received Friday, July 17, 2015, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at St. Peter of the Fields Catholic Church, with Reverend David Misbrener celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
