John Hemmer Birth: Jan. 18, 1858 Wayland Steuben County New York, USA Death: May 12, 1945 Dansville Livingston County New York, USA Dansville Breeze Tuesday, May 15, 1945 Funeral Services Today For Late John Hemmer Funeral services for the late John Hemmer will be held today at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Helman on the Dansville Hornell Road at 9:00 AM nnd at 9:30 A.M. from St. Mary's Church. The late Mr. Hemmer, aged 87, died Saturday of a heart attack at the Helman home. He was the father of Mrs. Helman. A retired farmer and carpenter, the late Mr. Hemmer spent most of his 87 years in this area. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. M. J. Helman, Mrs. F. H. Schledorn, Miss Helen Hemmer and Mrs. R. J. Nary of Rochester. Two sons, Otto Hemmer of Dansville and P. A. Hemmer of Rochester also survive. A brother, Frank Hemmer of Perkinsvllle, 8 grand children and several nelces and nephews also survive.
