She was born on June 6, 1924, in Hague, N.D., to Anton and Eva Reis. She lived in Aberdeen, S.D., before moving to Loveland, Colo., in September 1982. Agatha married Andrew L. Schweitzer on June 16, 1941, in Napoleon, N.D. He later passed away on March 23, 1983. She was a nurse's aide at St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen from 1958 to 1982. Agatha was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and Lady of the Knights. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and gardening. Agatha is survived by sons, Tim Schweitzer and wife, Kimberly, of Pueblo, Colo., Robert Schweitzer and wife, Machelle, of Medina, Ohio; daughters, Arlene Gabriel and husband, LeRoy, of Loveland, Colo., Sharon Davis and husband, Don, of Salina, Kan., Patricia Malsom and husband, Eloy, of Laramie, Wyo., Kay Gida of Loveland, Colo., Tracy Hagen and husband, Clyde, of Sioux Falls, S.D.; daughter-in-law, Maryann Schweitzer, of Lisbon, N.D.; 28 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Gerald Schweitzer; and brother, Bernard Reis; and son-in-law, Mike Gida. Recitation of the rosary at 9 a.m., with the Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, at St. John's Catholic Church in Loveland.
