Bio: Georgia Ann Lewis, 66, Bismarck, North Dakota, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at CHI, St. Alexius, Bismarck. Georgia was born September 19, 1951 in Mandan, to Edward and Irene (Weinberger) Ricker. She was raised alongside her lifelong friends and siblings, Susan, Yvonne, Todd, and Edward. Educated in Mandan, she graduated from Mandan High School in 1969. On August 19, 1972 she married her one true love, Kim Lewis. Together they owned and operated Lewis Oil Company, LLC in Bismarck.Georgia was an amazing and strong woman, who enjoyed being involved and helping anyone who needed a hand, advice, or opinion. Her compassion and love was felt by all who knew her. Georgia also definitely had a gift for gab, where her personality and love of people shined through.Growing up along the Missouri River led to a love of boating that she passed on to her children and grandchildren. Meeting up with family for big get togethers on the sandbars, watching her grandchildren build and destroy sandcastles, and feeding everyone until they popped were all cherished activities.Georgia enjoyed making numerous sewing projects for her family, from Halloween costumes when her kids where small to her grandchildren?s first baby blankets. Her love for her children and grandchildren was woven into the many beautiful dresses, blankets, costumes, pajamas, and Christmas stockings she made.Georgia loved traveling with Kim. She always looked forward to her annual trip to Cozumel, Mexico with friends. She cherished her many trips to Arizona, where she would lounge around the pool entertained by the antics of her ?water baby? grandchildren. She also enjoyed attending, organizing, and socializing at the many El Zagel Shrine Events.Whether it was a weekly family lunch, sewing, or traveling, Georgia?s family was foremost in her life. She was a rock to many who knew her, and she will be greatly missed by those she left behind.She is survived by her husband, Kim; three daughters, Alicia Stewart (James Scannell), Gilbert, Arizona, Kylie (Michael) Howard, Mesa, Arizona, and Jennifer (Mike) Klug, Mandan; son, Alexander (Alycia), Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two sisters, Susan (Scott) Davy, Bismarck, and Yvonne (Kevin) Schmidt, Mandan; brother, Todd (Christy) Ricker, Mandan; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Jackson, Mikey, Evelyn, Savanna, and Lillian; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.Georgia was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Edward G.
