Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Mrs. Reis died at St. Luke’s Hospital, Aberdeen, South Dakota on Monday, Sept. 13, 1971.She was born Jan. 21, 1893 at Selz, Kutchurgan, Russia. She came to the U.S. in 1894 with her parents and settled near Hague, ND. In 1916 they moved to Napoleon, ND, residing there until 1948 when they moved to Bismarck, ND and in 1950 moved to Aberdeen, SD. She was married to Anton Reis at Hague, ND on Jan. 16, 1916Survivors include one son, Berfnard, Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Andrew (Agatha) Schweitzer, Aberdeen; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchilden; three brothers, Anton Feist, Seattle, Wash., and Jacob and Val Feist, both of Bismarck.She was preceded in death by her husband in May, 1971, four sons, one brother and three sisters.
