Martha Louise Kullman (nee Haines), of Morgantown, peacefully joined her heavenly father on Thursday (June 2, 2011).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Kullman Jr.; parents, Bernard G. and Mildred L. Haines; and brother, Dean Haines.
Louise was the beloved mother of Lauren M. and Clifford Welch, Linda L. Kullman, Lucinda K. and Ray Pacileo, Leo and Debbie Kullman III, Lucille F. and Stephen Bianco, Lisa A. Wilson, Thomas and Audrey Kullman, and L. David and Maria Kullman.
Martha was a loving grandmother to Karen, Matthew, Sarah, Mark, Tommy, Charlotte, Daniel, Nicholas, Michael, Anna, Jason, Matthew, Sean, Tessa, Jacob, Elizabeth, Leo IV, Sidney, Zachary, Samantha and Abigail; and five great-grandchildren.
Louise was born Aug. 7, 1926, in Wheat. A lifelong resident of West Virginia, Martha resided in Fairmont, Richwood, Oak Hill, Montgomery, Keyser and Morgantown. Louise was proud of her West Virginia heritage and often spoke of her love of the mountains and her childhood in Wetzel County.
Friends may call at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. today and again from 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Star City, until Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Father John V. DiBacco as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Peace Garden Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gilchrist Hospice Center, 555 West Towsontown Blvd., Towson, MD 21204.
