  BIOGRAPHY: hebe1@sasktel.net Gregor EBERLE was Mayor of Rastadt, Beresan District, Russia from 1889-1892. He was made Mayor in place of Joseph ZENTNER who had been elected but had his confirmation refused. Gregor did his utmost to solve the school problem, the so-called "civil war", but was only partly sucessful (The German Colonies In South Russia 1804 to 1904 by Rev. Conrad KELLER).
