Wilson, 89, of Florence Villa Nursing Home in Florence Wisc., formerly of Jasper County, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 1997, at Florence Villa Nursing Home. Visitation was Dec. 31, 1997 at the Jacobs Lundholm Funeral Home in Florence, Wisc., with cremation following. Pastor Doug Johnson officiated. Wilson was born Dec. 27, 1908, in Claremont, the daughter of George and Della (Goss) Eyer. She was raised in Claremont, and at a young age moved to West Liberty, where she had a family farm. She married Wilmer E. Wilson Aug. 22, 1931. They moved to northern Illinois and in 1974 retired to Florence. Her husband preceded her in death in February 1988. She worked many years as a certified doll doctor. She is survived by two sons, Floyd Wilson and his wife, Donna, of Stitzer, Wisc., and Melvin Wilson and his wife, Pat, of West Chicago; three daughters, Joyce Davis and her husband, Charles, of Florence, Wisc., Sara Wilson, of North Aurora, and Myra Dage and her husband, Jim, of Batavia; one daughter-in-law, Marjorie M. Wilson (Dale), of Oblong; one brother, Fred Eyer and his wife, Mary, of Grayville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Darrell Wilson in June 1972, three brothers, Asher Eyer, Jacob Eyer and James Eyer, six sisters, Winnie Hahn, Margaret Fick, Susan Bartley, Clara Gregary, Deci Hunley and Carrie Eyer, and a granddaughter, Victoria Jean Wilson, in 1967.
