James O. Eyer, 75, Rt. 5 Olney, died at the family residence on Saturday.
Services will be Wedneday at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Revs. John Kaitschuk and Ray Zumstein presiding. Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Summers Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Mr. Eyer was born in Richland County on Jan. 31, 1904, son of George and Delia (Goss) Eyer. He married Blanche King, in Mt. Pelier, Ohio on June 15, 1930.
He is survived by his wife, Blanche, Olney; three sons, Michael Eyer, Spring Lake, N.C., Glenn Eyer, Olney, and Samuel Eyer, Petersburg; four daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Marlene) Schnepper, Olney, Mrs. Margaret Yeranos, Danbury, Conn., Mrs. Russell (Lila) Burrows, Olney, and Mrs. Stewart (Donna) Harris, Pheonix, Arz., six sisters, Mrs. Winnie Hahn, Albuquerque, N.M., Mrs. Margaret Fiock, Montezuma, Ind., Mrs. Susan Bartley, Mrs. Clara Gregory, and Mrs. Deci Hunley, all of Port Richey, Fla. and Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson, Florence, Wis., and 15 grandchildren.
Mr. Eyer was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and was a retired city employee.
