  [S927] Obituary. Loren Johnson IPSWICH - Loren F. Johnson, 86, died Tuesday, May 16, 2000, at the Beverly Healthcare Center in Ipswich. He was born March 22, 1914, near Tolstoy. He attended the Beach School near Tolstoy. He married Junya Monyon on Nov. 28, 1939. The couple farmed in the Tolstoy area until 1958, when they moved to a farm near Ipswich. The couple sold the farm and moved into town in 1989. He was a member of the United Church of Christ and served on school boards for the Beach and Adrian schools. He also served on the Adrian Township Board and on the A.S.C. Committee. Survivors include his wife, Junya; two daughters: Jolean Mitzel of Sioux Falls and Darla Braun of Minot, N.D.; two sons: Daryl of Pierre and Richard of Ipswich; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Church of Christ in Ipswich with burial in the Ipswich City Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 1 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hein Funeral Home in Ipswich and continues Saturday until noon. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
