Private family services will be held with inurnment in the National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport, is assisting her family with arrangements. Betty was born in 1917 in Glen Ullin, North Dakota, the daughter of Elizabeth and Michael Bode. On September 27, 1941, she married Joachim Mosbrucker in Long Beach, California. He died July 17, 2002. Betty and Joachim lived in Long Beach until he entered the service, then she traveled with him during his four and one half years with the US Army. When he was discharged they moved to the farm in North Dakota and were cattle ranchers while they also farmed. Betty was active in Christian Mothers, Catholic War Vets Auxiliary and the Homemakers Club. Her hobbies were crocheting afghans, crafts and gardening. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband on his many activities. Survivors include her daughter, Ileine (Larry) Seim of New Fairfield, Connecticut; sons, Tom (Heather) Mosbrucker of Vancouver, Canada and Mark (Jane) Mosbrucker of Bettendorf, IA; and grandchildren, Chris Seim, Darin Seim, Cher Keck, Jeff Mosbrucker, Joey Mosbrucker, Seth Mosbrucker, Paula Mosbrucker and Shelby Mosbrucker; and six great-grandchildren.
