"Dick" Geibe, 65, of Dardanelle, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs. He was born Sept. 9, 1942, in Salem, Ill., to Lawson and Berniece Smith Geibe. He was a member of Dardanelle First Presbyterian Church where he was a past elder. He owned and operated Dick Geibe Plumbing in the River Valley for more than 30 years and also served in the National Guard for eight years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Kay Ruble; and a brother, Ed Geibe. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, . . . ; daughters and sons-in-law, . . .; grandsons, . . . ; granddaughter, . . . ; and several other family and friends. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church with Kelly Pearson officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home.
