He was an associate trustee of the Truro Conservation Trust, a member of the Pamet Harbor Yacht and Tennis Club and a former member of the Truro Planning Board.He was an avid golfer, art lover, bread baker and sailor.Survivors include two sons, Paul Rennert and Peter Rennert; two daughters, Cathleen Bean and Nancy Bourke; and eight grandchildren.
