Songwriter/musician. Dennis Adkins began performing at an early age with his brother Bob; known as "The Adkins Brothers". They appeared on local radio and television shows in their hometown of Corydon, IN. with artists Crystal Gayle, Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette to name a few. Dennis learned to play the guitar early and later picked up the drums. Dennis moved to Nashville because if you were a writer, that's where you needed to be. He started out with MCA, then signed with Golden Opportunity, but his most productive years were with Mel Tillis' company, Cedarwood. He wrote "Ace in the Hole" that made it to number one on the charts recorded by George Strait. He also wrote songs for Roy Clark, Brenda Lee, Randy Travis and many other well known musicians.
