Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, Mandan, with the Rev. Patrick Schumacher as celebrant. Burial will be held at Mandan Union Cemetery on Friday, June 24. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, with a parish rosary/vigil at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour before the service at the church on Thursday. Charlie was born Feb. 6, 1958, in Bismarck, to Pious and Irene (Haag) Pfleger. Beautiful, generous, gentle, and loving are words that most describe Charlie. She was a hard worker dedicated to her career as an all star cosmetologist that helped her obtain the Diamond Level Award. These awards resulted in winning trips to New York and Cancun. She enjoyed music, camping, singing, dancing and cooking. She was known to drive a fast car and enjoyed the thrill. Living life to the fullest, she was most proud of her children and grandchildren. Her faith was very important to her which was expressed as an avid reader of the Bible. These memories will be cherished by friends and family. Her favorite quote to her children was, "I love you more than air." Charlie will be greatly missed by her children, Billy Rae Lang (fiance, Manny Villarreal), Shaun (Jennifer Ann) Lang, Mandan, and Taylor "Mokey" Stogner, Preston Lang and Dallas Lang, all of Bismarck; grandchildren, Kendra Rae Lang, Chance Benjamin Peltier and Cristian River Villarreal; sisters, Judy (Dale) Ziegler and Geri Roehrich, Mandan, and Stacey Bornemann, Center; brothers, Kurt Pfleger and Conrad (Vicky), Mandan, and Loni Joe, Bismarck; along with many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Mary Elizabeth Pfleger.
