George's Obituary DOLL, George Passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 in Santa Rosa, CA. George was born on March 22, 1918 in Santa Clara, CA. He is predeceased by his wonderful wife of 64 years, Rosemary, who passed away on May 17, 2009, also by his daughter, Leslie La Coco. Survived by his loving daughter, Roseanna Doll of Portland, OR, and by his loving son, Walter Doll of Santa Rosa, numerous grandchildren and several nephews. He graduated A.B. in 1938 and J.D. in 1940 from Santa Clara University. George served in the Navy during WWII as a Registered Publications Officer on the staff of Admiral William F. Halsey, Commander Third Fleet, South Pacific area. He was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in San Francisco and later practiced law for many years in Redwood City. After retirement he lived in Santa Rosa at Oakmont and Spring Lake Village. A private Catholic Liturgy Service was held at Daniels Chapel of the Roses and private inurnment beside his wife at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, St. Paul, MN.
