Birth: Mar. 15, 1926 Fessenden Wells County North Dakota, USA Death: Feb. 2, 2014 Montana, USA Early Life: On March 15, 1926, George was born in Fessenden, North Dakota. His parents moved George and his six siblings to Montana in 1933, settling in the Bitterroot Valley, where George resided for the majority of his life. Education: Corvallis High School Life's Work/Service/Interests: George married Mary A. "Mollie" Miller on December 31, 1945. George's farm and ranch operations included raising sugar beets, hay and grain, as well as, operating a small dairy and running a cow-calf operation. George and Mollie were active members of the Corvallis Community Church and Christ's Bible Church in Hamilton before moving to Helena in 2006. George operated and managed school buses for 26 years under contracts with the Corvallis School District. He also served on the governing boards of the Corvallis Cemetery Association, the Western Montana Beet Growers Association, and the Corvallis Volunteer Fire Department. George G. Brown, of Helena, Montana, passed away on February 2, 2014. He was 87 years old. Survived By: His wife of 68 years, Mollie; his youngest sister, Barbara Jean Brown, of Hamilton; two sons and their spouses: Steve and Sharon Brown, of Helena; Bob and Jeanine Brown, of Placentia, CA; four grandchildren and two daughters-in-law: Justin and Carrie, of Helena; Collin and Abby, of Bozeman; Whitley and Miller, of Placentia, CA; and two great-grandchildren: Fischer and Kason. If George had survived until his 88th birthday on March 15, he would have been blessed with a third great-grandchild, whose name was disclosed only to him, by father-to-be, Collin.
