Mary was born March 23, 1912 in Fallon, North Dakota, the daughter of Frank and Mathilda (Kubista) Dworshak. Mary grew up and was educated in Morton County schools. She married Lucas Brilz on June 15, 1934 in Bismarck, ND. They moved to a farm northeast of Bismarck in 1940. In 1963, they moved to Medina, ND where they owned and operated Luke's Bar for many years. In 1974, they retired and he died on November 2, 1974. Mary enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters, Viney Inglish, Medina, ND; Irene (Arlen) Hillius, Medina, ND; Kathy (Ernie) Dodson, Las Vegas, NV, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and two sister-in-laws, Betty Brilz, Bismarck and Della Brilz, Medina. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters; Irene in infancy & Lorraine Semmel, two sons, Clarence and Virgil Brilz; three sisters, Emma Stroh, Rose Gilman, Veronica Stockert and three brothers, Frank, Pete and Val Dworshak. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, Bismarck, North Dakota.
