  [S926] Find-A-Grave, (www.findagrave.com). [S927] Obituary. John J. Nist 1929 - 10 Obituary John J. "Jack" Nist, 78, of Adams, died Friday, May 30, 2008, at his residence. He was born Oct. 13, 1929, in Pittsburgh and was a Korean War Army veteran. Mr. Nist was a supervisor for North Side Packing Co. and a security officer for Sherwood Oaks Retirement Community, Cranberry. He was a member of St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, Mars, where he sang in the choir, and also sang in the choir at St. Boniface Church, North Side, and with the Evans City Choir. Surviving are his wife, Margaret J. Lamm Nist, whom he married Aug. 17, 1985; sons, John and David Nist; stepdaughters, Margaret Fierst, of Pittsburgh, and Barbara Auer (Edward Callahan), of Greensburg; sister, Dolores Nist, of Gibsonia; brothers, Louis (Esther) and Joseph Nist, of Shaler; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME INC., 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating. Entombment will be in the Zelienople Mausoleum.
