Birth: Mar. 8, 1884 Ashford Fond du Lac County Wisconsin, USA Death: Aug. 1, 1967 Random Lake Sheboygan County Wisconsin, USA Sheboygan Press, Wednesday, Aug. 2, 1967 Mrs. John Schaeffer. 83, of Kewaskum, died Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Albert [Thill], at R. 1, Randon Lake, with whom she lived the past six weeks. The former [Regina] Mueller was born March 8, 1884, in the Town of Ashford, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Egidius Mueller. On June 2, 1908, she married John Schaeffer at St. Mathews Catholic Church in Campbellsport. Mr. Schaeffer died July 18. 1955. For the next 12 years she had made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Weddig of Kewaskum. Mrs. Schaeffer was a member of the Altar Society of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kewaskum. Survivors Include three daughters, Mrs. Ed (Rose) Weddig of Kewaskum, Mrs. Al (Cyrila) [Tischendorf] of R. 3, Campbellsport and Mrs. Albert (Marie) [Thill] of Random Lake; two sons, Paul of Milwaukee and Gerald of Kewaskum; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sister Mary Cyrilla, OFS, of Milwaukee; and two brothers, Ed and Joe, both of Campbellsport. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Rev. John P. Budde, pastor, celebrant of the requiem Mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Miller’s Funeral Home, Kewaskum, after 2 p.m. Friday. End Note: Name may be spelled either Regina or Regena.
