[S927] Obituary. Blanche Carter MATTOON - Mrs. Joe (Blanche Eva) Carter, 57, of Mattoon died at 7:05 a.m. Saturday (July 27, 1985) in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Immaculate Conception Roman aaolicXhurchjmluJhe Rev. Herman Niebrugge officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at Schilling's Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. today. .The rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Carter was born Feb. 3, 1928, in Island Grove, a daughter of Andrew and Anna Minehart Emmerich. She was married to Joe Carter on June 18, 1949, at Island Grove. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, Bill and Mark, both of Mattoon; a daughter, Connie Carter of Mattoon; mother of Wheeler; ' four brothers, Oliver, Ralph and Bob Emmerich, all of Wheeler, and Eugene Emmerich of Decatur; six sisters, Mrs. Nicholas (Anna Marie) Stuckey of Mattoon, Mrs, Derrell (Judy) Street of Forsyth, Evelyn Kastl of Wheeler, Mrs. John (Helen) Murry of Northbrook; Mrs! Dan (Margaret) Reimer of Oregon and Mrs. Tony (Teresa) Willenborg of Decatur; and two grandchildren.
