Birth: Feb. 4, 1904 Buffalo Scott County Iowa, USA Death: Feb. 16, 1999 Davenport Scott County Iowa, USA BUFFALO, Iowa -- Services for Marie Mc Cullough, of Buffalo, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Runge Mortuary and Crematory, Davenport. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Mrs. Mc Cullough died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1999, at Davenport Medical Center. She was employed many years at Flagers' Grocery Store in Buffalo. Marie was born Feb. 8, 1904, in Buffalo, to George and Ella (Mounts) Rauch. She married Ted Harp in 1926 in Buffalo. He died in 1951. In 1960, she married Thomas Mc Cullough in Nashua. He died the same year. She was a member of Buffalo Senior Citizens and the Bunco Club. She was a direct descendent of Capt. Benjamin W. Clark, one of the first settlers of Scott County. She enjoyed playing cards and crocheting. She also enjoyed spending time with her many friends and her family. Memorials may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church in Buffalo, where she was a charter member. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred and Jack Niles, Buffalo, and Gladys and Don Mosier, Muscatine; a son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Ruby Mc Cullough, Buffalo; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several cousins and many friends.
