Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Schrader chapel with Rev. Daniel T. Winger in charge. Burial was in the Wheatland cemetery. The deceased was born to Peter and Wilhelmina Schreyer December 18, 1900 in Brooklyn, NY and had lived here since 1920. Survivors include his wife Maude E.; two sons, James Purdue and Frank of the U.S. Armed Forces; four daughters, Mrs. Frances Schirmer of Carlotta, Calif., Mrs. Lloyd Nordstrum, Mrs. Harry Brecht and Shirley who is at home; and thirteen grandchildren. Pallbearers were J.E. Foreman, Fred Prewitt, A.S. Neely, George R. Grant, Bernard McQuire and Delbert Howe.
