Geibel, 86, of East Butler died Thursday morning at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot. Born in Butler on March 5, 1920, she was the daughter of Daniel W. and Gertrude Piper Zimmerman. A homemaker, Mrs. Geibel had been retired for 23 years from the Magnetics plant in East Butler, where she had worked for more than 20 years. Prior to that she also had worked at the former Spaide Shirt Factory in Butler. She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Morgan C. Geibel, whom she married in August 1951; a son, Randy C. Geibel and his wife, Susan, of Butler; and two grandchildren, Mindy and Nathan Geibel, both of Butler. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Jerry and Ben Zimmerman. GEIBEL - Friends of Mildred L. Geibel, who died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler. The Rev. Pierre Falkenhan, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery, Butler. The Women's Council of St. Peter will recite the Rosary at 9:40 a.m. Monday in the church.
