  [S927] Obituary. Anita P. Kochert Elwanger, 68 years of age died Friday, October 28th, 2011 at her residence. Anita was born August 20th, 1943 in New Albany to the late Jennings William and Mary Frances Durbin Kochert. She was a retired statistical assistant with the Census Bureau after 30 years of service and was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Grand-daughter Emily Elwanger, and a Brother Raymond Jennings Kochert. Survivors include: Husband of 50 years: Donald J. Elwanger Children: Donna Kruer David Elwanger (Kari) Kimberly Miller (Mike) all of New Albany 6 Grandchildren: Angela, Joe, Hillary, Davey, Christopher, and Ashley. 4 Great-Grandchildren: Haley, Austin, Christopher Jr., and Jaden. Sister: Stella Knable Georgetown, IN Sister-In-Law: Cara Kochert Greenville, IN Many Nieces and Nephews Visitation will be from 1:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm Sunday October 30th, and after 9:00 am Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 12:00 noon Monday October 31st, in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
