  [S927] Obituary. ROXANNA BANCO, 52 of Martins Ferry, Ohio formerly of Bellaire, Ohio died Wednesday March 4, 2009 at her home with her loving family and her pastor by her side. She was born July 28, 1956 in Muncie, Indiana a daughter of Lucille Willison Banco and the late John W. Banco, Sr. Roxanna was a loving mother, sister and daughter. She volunteered much time towards her daughter's school and many organizations throughout her life. She was a devoted hard working mother and homemaker. Her two daughters were the love of her life. Her daughters gave her the strength to fight a five year battle against cancer. In addition to her father, John who died in 1996 and her paternal grandmother, Hazel Banco who also died in 1996. Surviving are her two daughters, Melissa Kurner and her husband, Jordan and Sheyanna Scott all of Martins Ferry, Ohio, her mother, Lucille Banco of Wheeling, West Virginia, two brothers, John W. Banco and his wife, Amy of Wheeling, West Virginia, Thomas W. Banco of Shadyside, Ohio and one sister, Lisa Nickerson Pamphilis and her husband, Mark of Shadyside, Ohio formerly of Bellaire, Ohio. Also four nephews, two nieces and one great nephew. Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm where services will be held on Monday at 1 pm with Pastor Joel Traylor officiating.
