Sloan, 58, of 50515 SR 145, Woodsfield, died Nov. 3, 1996 at his home. He was born in Monroe County March 9, 1938, a son of the late James F. Sloan and Beatrice L. Stoehr Sloan. He was manager of the Rolling Hills Landmark Inc. store in Woodsfield for over 30 years. He was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, Woodsfield. He is survived by his wife, Pam Yoss Sloan, Woodsfield; two sons, Kirt Sloan, Barnesville, Pete Sloan, Lancaster; two grandsons, Justin and Jared Sloan. Friends were received Nov. 4 at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where services were held Nov. 5 with Rev. Donald Rock officiating. Interment in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield. Family requests memorial contributions to be made to the St. Paul United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, 303 S.
