Birth: Jun. 6, 1938 Noble County Ohio, USA Death: Jan. 4, 2005 Colorado, USA Kenneth H. Weisent, age 66, beloved husband and father, passed away on January 4, 2005 due to an accident while on vacation with his family in Colorado. A former Canton, OH resident, he had moved to Deming, NM three years ago. Ken was born on June 6, 1938 in Noble County, OH, the youngest of nine children. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Ella (Michel) and Walter Weisentm a sister, Helen and her spouse, Carl Smith, a brother-in-law, Joseph Yontz and a sister-in-law, Darlis. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Wiandt) and four children,: Kevin (35), Amy (33), Charles (26) and his wife, Priscilla, all of Albuquerque, NM and Walter (29) of Canton, OH. Ken is also survived by four sisters, Bertha Smith, Violet Yontz, Eileen (Vincent) Kress and Ardella (Donald) Schrader and three brothers, Ruben, Carl (Judy) and Clemence. Ken was proud of his United States Army service, 1961 until 1963, was a member of the American Legion, an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Deming, NM and had attained 4th degree in the Knights of Columbus. Ken enjoyed his animals, building things, the outdoors and travel. Ken took his wife to Hawaii in October 2004 to celebrate their 36th wedding anniversary. Ken will be sorely missed. There will be a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Deming. Family and friends will be received in the Church hall after Mass.
