Nieb, 80, of Marble Road, Kensington, died in his home Thursday morning, April 5, 2007, following a brief illness. Born Nov. 19, 1926, in Guernsey County, he was a son of the late Herbert and Elsie Todd Nieb. Victor retired from the former Sunrise Feed and Grain company of Kensington. He is a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Kensington. Victor is survived by his wife, the former Jane Stuckey, whom he married in August of 1954; three sons, John V. Nieb of Florida, Fredrick J. Nieb of Beloit, and Todd Nieb of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth Darlene (Gregory) Metz of Beloit and Jeanie Victoria (Shawn) Kinkade of Malvern; eight grandchildren; one brother, William Neib of Rayland, Ohio; and one sister, Martha Dobbins of South Carolina. He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, in the Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park at Beloit.
