GERTRUDE LUCILLE SCHWEICKART, age 84, formerly of Lynchburg and Georgetown, Ohio, residing at the home of Mrs. Helen Plymale, Sabina, Ohio, under her kind and loving care, died Friday evening, January 13, at the Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington, Ohio.She was born April 21, 1899 in Higginsport, Ohio, the daughter of Lewis Clayton and Frances Jennings Parker. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clarence Raymond Schweickart July 9, 1948, her son-in-law John Mack DuBose 1965, her daughter Mary Jean Lehmann, Nov. 21, 1980, an infant son Billy, August 1930, and an infant sister Norman Lee, 1906. Survivors include her daughters, Frances Dean Davidson of Lynchburg, and Florence DuBose of Cincinnati; one sister, Helen Parker of Cleveland; a daughter-in-law Shirley Taulbee Schweickart of Seminole, FL; one grandson, John Raymond Davidson of Lynchburg; and two sons-in-law J. Henry Davidson of Lynchburg, and Ernest Lehmann of Fairborn, Ohio. Services were held at 1 p.m. Mon., Jan. 16 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg, Ed Bousman and Lee Heavenrich officiating. Burial was held at the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown with graveside services at 2:30 p.m. When Lucille was quite young, her parents moved to Maysville, KY where she graduated from high school in 1917. She was married to Raymond, of Georgetown, in 1918, and resided there until her husband's death in 1948. Soon after his death, she was welcomed to the home of her daughter, Florence, and her son-in-law, John Mack DuBose of Charleston, S.C.She came to her daughter's home in Lynchburg, Ohio in 1954, where she made many friends. Her grandson, John was born in 1956, and she cared for him with her tender motherly love until his senior year in high school. From her daughter's home, she was welcomed to the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she received loving and capable care in the hands of Shirley.
