Virginia moved to Granite Falls to work at the Sanatorium. She married Arnold Hegna, and from this union seven children were born. She worked at Plews/Parker Hannifin for several years. She was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, crocheting, reading, helping with church functions, playing cards, and watching the Twins baseball team. She was a great mother and grandmother. She is survived by: her daughters, Deb, Julie, Kathryn, Kerry, Pam and Amy; fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Siblings: Donna, Roland, Gladys, Bill, Marliss and Steve.
