She was born December 3, 1926 to Gottlieb and Ida Haux. On October 4, 1947, she was united in marriage to her husband of 62 years, Charles Hunt, in Huron, South Dakota. Virginia and her husband were owners of the Commissary Mall in Casper until July of 2009. At that time, she retired to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Shelli and Ron Elledge, in Phoenix, AZ. Survivors include four daughters, Deborah Hill of Virginia, Shelli Elledge of Arizona, Corrine Ryan of Florida, and Virginia (Ginny) Wailes of Colorado, and one son, Charles Hunt of Florida. Virginia also has seven sisters and four brothers: Violet Maier, Forbes, ND, Harold Haux, Leola, SD, Caroline Kronberg, Forbes, ND, Eldon Haux, Coeur d' Alane, ID, Norma Rohrbach, Selah, WA, Robert Haux, Laurinberg, NC, Jeanette Yost, Leola, SD, Linda Fogel, Aberdeen, SD, Nancy Belden, Deer Park, WA, Eugene Haux, Mina, SD, and Gladys McOwen, Phoenix, AZ.
