Marian McCrady, 76, of Mineral Wells, passed from this life on Oct. 29, 2008, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She was born March 8, 1932, a daughter of the late Roy F. and Mattie Haines Ludwig in Wood County, W.Va. She was a member of the Grace Gospel Church and a graduate of Parkersburg High School, class of 1950.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles W. McCrady; three sons, Allen and Anita McCrady, Scott and Diane McCrady and Dana McCrady, all of Mineral Wells; eight grandchildren, Matt and Lynn McCrady of Buena Vista, Va., Amy and Jeff Mitchell of Parkersburg, Charlie and Stacy McCrady of Beaver, Pa., Kristy McCrady of Mineral Wells, Michelle McCrady of Parkersburg, Amanda McCrady of Fredericksburg, Va., Brandi Elkins of Charlotte, N.C., and Justin Elkins of Mineral Wells; and three great-grandchildren, Eli, Sophia and Brendan McCrady.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Geneva and Jack Ashwell, Kathryn and Os Ball, Anna and Noel Spiker and Mildred and Bill Sargent; and one nephew, Jim Ashwell.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg, with Elder Sterling Ball and Pastor Mike Allen officiating. Family will receive friends from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
