Zanesville Times Recorder September 17, 1954 Beallsville Woman Dies BEALLSVILLE, 0., Sept. 16 — Mrs. Lizzie May Schenk. 86, died at her home here at 9:30 o'clock this morning following an illness of several weeks. She was born near Beallsville-August 14,1868, a daughter of George and Charlotte Griffith. She was a lifelong resident of the community. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Johnson of Chuna Vista, Calif.; two sons, Arthur D. of Coraoplis, Pa., and Edgar R. of Edgewood, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Mattie L. Workman of Beallsville; four grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. The body is at the Harper-Campbell funeral home where services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. Floyd Workman will officiate. Burial will be in Beallsville cemetery Zanesville Signal September 17, 1954 MRS.
