Hugo was born April 16, 1927, on the family farm in rural Grant County, N.D. to Andrew and Kathleen (Meidinger) Ketterling. He married Faun Trent, Nov. 9, 1951, and moved to Lead soon after. He is survived by his brother, LeRoy Ketterling, Billings, Mont.; two sisters, Mildred Striegel, Carson, N.D., and Lillian Neher, Powell, Wyo.; special friend Max Culver and her boys; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faun Ketterling; his parents;; his sisters, Hilda and Leona and his brother, Kenneth. The Aldinger Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Spearfish has been entrusted with the arrangements.
