  [S927] Obituary. MASCOUTAH -- Viola R. (Espenschied) Schuetz, retired school teacher in Mascoutah, died Sunday (March 9, 2003) at her home in Mascoutah of natural causes. She was 83. Mrs. Schuetz was born in 1920 near Springfield, Ill., to Herman and Hilda Espenschied. Her family later moved to the Mascoutah area, where the family farmed. Mrs. Schuetz graduated from Mascoutah High School in the late 1930s and received her bachelor's from McKendree College. In 1941, she married Arthur Schuetz of Washington County, whom she met at a social function. He died in 1997. Mrs. Schuetz started teaching ?
