Louise E. Starke, 92, loving mother and grandmother, formerly of Temple, passed away Tuesday evening Jan. 8 in Golden Living Center, Exeter Twp.
Louise was married to the late William E. Starke, who passed away April 8, 1999.
Born in Heidelberg, Allegheny County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Scheib and Mary (Schubert) Scheib.
Louise was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church.
Louise was a member of the Temple Fire Company, where she was formerly a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Louise was an avid card player and enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City.
Surviving are three sons: Thomas W. Starke and wife, Nancy, of Camp Hill, Donald E. Starke and wife, Sally, of Mohrsville, and Kevin J. Starke and wife, Adrian, of Pittsburgh.
There is one daughter, Patricia L., wife of Bob Capuano of Homosassa, Florida.
Also, seven grandchildren: Timothy, Bryan, Steven, Nathan, Natalie, Genevieve and Peter Starke. There is one great-grandson, Daniel Starke.
Louise was predeceased by one son, Frederick C. Starke, who passed away in 2009, and by nine siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, with Rev. Msgr Dennis T. Hartgen celebrant. Interment will follow in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. Family and friends may call Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home Inc., 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple.
