  [S927] Obituary. In Memory of Shirley A. Lowdermilk March 5, 1926 - July 11, 2011 Obituary Shirley Ann Lowdermilk, age 85, of Canton, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011. She was born March 5, 1926 in Canton to the late Curtis A. and Helen M. (Riley) Rogers. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, class of 1944, Secretary of American Mill Specialty, an active member of Lincoln High School Alumni and a member of the P.E.O Sisterhood. Shirley loved jazz music, dancing at Meyers Lake Ballroom, was an avid bridge player and enjoyed corresponding with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin J. Lowdermilk and brother, Tom Rogers. She is survived by four sons: Kurt (Barbara) Lowdermilk of Fremont, MI, Mark Lowdermilk of Aurora, OH, Kevin (Pam) Lowdermilk of Canton and Kris Lowdermilk of Massillon; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nephews, Jeffrey (Natalie) Rogers of Stratham, NH; Walter (Sandra) Schlaupitz of North Canton, and niece Cheryl Rogers of Gainesville, FL. A memorial service will be held at 6PM, Friday, July 15, 2011 at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with Dr. Clifford Price officiating. Friends will be received 4-6pm prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's name to P.E.O., Sisterhood Chapter CX, Sally King-Treasurer, 602 Meyerson Ave. S.E., Canton, Ohio 44707. The family wishes to thank The Laurels of Massillon and Dr. Louis Shaheen for their compassionate care and service given to our mother.
