  [S927] Obituary. HAWKINS Mrs. Amalie Maly Hawkins, 79, of McDonough passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at her residence. She was born June 29, 1924, in Passau, Germany, daughter of the late Karl Ruch and the late Olga Barthe Ruch. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1 at Pope Dickson and Son Jonesboro Chapel. Survivors include her husband, Gene Hawkins; son, Karl Palmer; daughter, Rita Esquibel; grandchildren, Cheri Setliff and James Haga; sister, Olga Kiernan; stepson, William and Pamela Estil of Fort Worth, Texas; grandsons, Christopher and Brian; stepdaughter, Kathy and Robert Roth of Amarillo, Texas; grandsons, Alex and Mathew.
