Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring, and from 9 - 10 Wednesday morning at St. Boniface Church. The Christian Women will pray a rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a public prayers service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Colette was born in St. Cloud to Benedict and Adella (Hammes) Knese. She married Gerald Theis, Sr. on June 3, 1947 in Holy Angels Church, St. Cloud. She was a homemaker all her life. She enjoyed reading, baking, crocheting, knitting, tatting and helping others. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish and the Christian Women. Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Gerald, Sr.; children, Jerry (Renee), Anthony, Lawrence, James (Donna), Michael (Carol), Len (Helen), Joseph (Wendy), Mark, Mary (Jeff) Theis-Spoden, Carol (Duane) Hiltner, Joan (Gary) Stangler and John (Sandra); 27 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Estella Myers and brother, Robert Knese. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Marian, Norbert, Lawrence and Richard Knese.
