Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lawrence. Mrs. Lutz died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 15, 1925, in Lawrence, the daughter of Wilhelm Karl and Lena Myrtle (Kindred) Eisele. She lived in Lawrence until moving to Eudora in 1948. Mrs. Lutz worked as a bookkeeper for an auto salvage yard. She also worked as a librarian at the Eudora Public Library for eight years. She was a 20-year member of the 1900 and Now Club, a 47-year member of United Methodist Women and a 35-year member of United Methodist Church, all in Eudora. She married Vernon Jay Lutz Oct. 9, 1946, in Lawrence. He died April 15, 1992. Survivors include two daughters, Diana Lutz, Raleigh, N.C., and Elaine Bonebrake, Lawrence; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
