George W. Brooks

George W. Brooks, 59, of Twinsburg, died March 25,1999, in Sun City, Arizona. He was born June 14, 1939, in Woodsfield, Ohio, a son of Marie Brooks and the late Hugh Brooks.
He retired from Walnut Hills Ford Motor Company and moved to Arizona in August 1998 to pursue his passion for golf, seven days a week.
He was also known as "Pop Bottle" of the Golden Mike Club to many of his CB friends.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his love, Sheryl Brooks; two daughters, Debora Pugh and Gloria Brooks, both of Marengo, Ohio; five grandchildren, Justin, Nick, Brandy, Joey, and Jenny; three brothers, Phillip of Dayton, Fred of Mantua and Ken of Hiram; two sisters, Kathy Shanholtzer of Aurora and Virginia Putt of Ravenna.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosetta Frelinio.
There were no services but to be remembered on the 14th hole, his favorite, of Riverview Golf Course in Sun City. Burial in Paradise Memorial.
