Helen Frances Kemmer Smith Birth: Jul. 1, 1911 Death: Dec. 15, 1993 Mrs. Helen Frances Smith, 82, of Strattanville RD 1, died Wednesday, Dec 15, 1993, in Brookville Hospital. Born July 1, 1911, in Kersey, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elsie Disque Kemmer. Mrs. Smith was married July 23, 1933, to Reid W. Smith, and he died March 15, 1964. Mrs. Smith was employed for 16 years by the Clarion-Limestone School District as a custodian. Mrs. Smith was a member of Kingsville United Methodist Church. Surviving are two grandsons, W. Craig Smith Cowansville and W. Eugene Smith of Strattanville RD 1; seven great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews, and one sister, Mrs. Edward (Louise) Cyphert of Summerville RD 2. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today and from 2-4 and 7-9, Friday at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday in the funeral home. Rev. Sue Bonner, pastor of Kingsville United Methodist Church, will officiate at the service. Interment will follow in Asbury Cemetery.
