Hawke, 72, of 330 Pacific St., Franklin, died at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, in UPMC Northwest, Franklin. Born May 5, 1931, in Reno, she was the daughter of George M. and Mildred V. Say Disque. She attended the Reno Elementary School and Rocky Grove High School, was employed at Venango Manor, then in the dietary department at Polk Center, retiring in 1991, was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, the Rebecca Circle of the church, and the Polk Community Quilting Bee. She was married Oct. 19, 1948, to Herbert W. Hawke, who died Feb. 6, 1988. Surviving are five children: Rita Lee and husband, James, of Pleasantville, Raymond Hawke and wife, Lori, of Utica, Jeff Hawke and wife, Darla, of Franklin, Mark Hawke and fiancee, Gerty Lamberton, of Polk and Alice Frantz and husband, Tony, of Pasadena, Md.; 12 grandchildren, Christy Trinch of Polk, Jimmy Lee, Danielle Hawke, Hunter Hawke, Laura Stelene and Joe Hawke, all of Franklin, Scott Lee of Pittsburgh, Ray Hawke Jr. of Provo, Utah, Heather Ditzenberger of Beauford, S.C., Mark Hawke Jr. of Seneca, Emily Hawke of Stoneboro and Joshua Frantz of Pasadena, Md.; seven great-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Donna) Martin of Polk and Mrs. Samuel (Arlowene) Weaver of Franklin.
