Mrs. Mary Helen Haggerty, aged 74 and wife of John D. Haggerty, Sr., of Stoneham, died at 8;10 a.m., Saturday after having been in failing health for the past five years.
Mrs. Haggerty was born in Hallton, PA, but had been a resident of Stoneham since 1920. She was a member of Stoneham Methodist Church, also of it's Ladies Aid Society.
Besided her husband, she leaves the following children; John, Jr., Warren RD 2; Mrs. Myra Mead, Stoneham; Mrs. Grace Campbell, Warren; Dale Haggerty, Pulaski, VA; also five brothers and two sisters; Harry and John Disque, Hallton; Edward Disque, Ridgway; Raymond Disque, Johnsonburg, George Disque, Reno; Mrs. Elsie Kemmer, Strattonville; Mrs. Margaret Guiher, Warren. Besides these, there are 10 grandchilren and a number of nieces and nephews. A brother, Conrad Disque preceded her in death in 1947; a sister, Mrs. Martha Mealy died last year.
Services in her memory were held at 2:00 p.m. today, the Rev. Reed Hurst of Epworth Methodist Church officiating and interment taking place in Warren County Memorial Park in Starbrick.

Largly atended services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday for Mrs. Mary Helen Haggerty, wife of John Haggerty, Sr., of Stoneham, with Rev. Reed Hurst of Epworth Methodist Church officiating assited by Rev. James Kelley, pastor of Clarksville, PA, Methodist charge and former pastor at Epworth. Member of the Ladies' Aid of Stoneham Methodist Church attended in a group. The following served as bearers for interment in Warren County Memoiral Park at Starbrick; Edward Wollaston, Clarence Vesling, James Manning, Merle Jackson, Lloyd Hulings and Howard MaGee.
Attendiing from away were; Mrs. and Mrs. David Asp, Kane; Mr. and Mrs. Perry Neal, Bradford,; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Glenn, Corsica; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gifford, Clarion; Mrs. Alta Truby, Howard Haggerty, Sigel; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kemmer, Strattonville; Harry and John Disque, Hallton; Mrs. and Mrs. Ed Disque, Miss Edith Disque, Ridgway.
